Baby Goat Yoga, March 22
With Adina Briggs McConaughey (RYT200)
March 22, 2020
For a short time only — while our baby goats are still little — we’re offering Baby Goat Yoga at Cairns Farm with certified yoga instructor, Adina Briggs McConaughey.
Situated in the shelter of our Little Red Barn overlooking acres of private meadows, Douglas Fir forest stands, and ancient oak groves, we’ll spend 60 minutes on the practice of Hatha Yoga.
If you’re new to yoga, no worries! Hatha is the perfect introduction, focused on asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) to build strength, flexibility, balance, stress relief, and an overall sense of well-being in a supportive environment. And it’s easily modified for a variety of abilities.
You’re invited to the farm a half hour before class starts and to stay a half hour after class is over to play with the goats, hold them (we’ll show you how), and take all the pictures you like.
Experience Needed: NONE. This class is open to ALL levels from novice to experienced.
Class Size: 15 maximum
Class Length: 60 minutes
What to Bring: A yoga mat if you have one you prefer.
What to Wear: Warm, comfortable clothing. The Little Red Barn is a shelter and is not heated. It provides plenty of protection in case of rain, but you’ll want to be prepared for cool conditions.
